A football jersey is the only team top on this site that is deliberately not graded to the athlete. It is graded to the athlete plus a set of shoulder pads, and the pads differ by position: a lineman’s pad set adds far more width across the shoulder than a receiver’s does. That is why a programme that orders football jerseys by ordinary shirt size ends up with skill players swimming in fabric and linemen who cannot get the shirt over the pads. Order by position group and by the pad model you actually use.

Our minimum is 10 pieces per design, which suits a programme running separate home and away colourways, or a school that wants game jerseys and practice jerseys printed differently in one production slot.

Because the artwork is dyed into the fabric before cutting, large numbers, shoulder yokes and gradient panels do not add a separate decoration cost per piece, and there is no printed layer to crack where a jersey is pulled and stretched every play.

Specification points to put on your purchase order rather than leave to assumption: mesh type and weight, whether the body is cut close over pads or loose, sleeve opening width, side-panel construction, and whether numbers are sublimated or applied as twill. Sublimated numbers keep the surface flat and cost nothing extra per player; applied twill numbers are a separate hand operation and are priced and timed accordingly — the same trade-off we document in detail for baseball.

Approve the mockup, we cut a pre-production sample, and after you approve the sample bulk runs in a typical 15–20 days. If your season opens in late August, count backwards: production plus sea freight comfortably exceeds two months, so a summer order is a spring decision.

Do you make shoulder pads or helmets?

No. We manufacture textile products only — jerseys, pants and practice kit. Protective hardware is a different industry with its own certification regime, and we will not quote it.

How do I size a jersey that has to fit over pads?

Send us the pad model and a size breakdown by position group. A lineman jersey and a receiver jersey graded from the same table will not both work. If you can send one jersey you currently use over your current pads, that is the most reliable brief you can give us.

Are sublimated numbers cheaper than sewn twill numbers?

Yes. Sublimated numbers are printed with the rest of the design, so per-player numbering does not add a separate operation. Sewn twill is applied by hand and is priced and scheduled as extra work.

Sizing

We have not published a football-specific graded block, and we will not relabel another sport’s table as one — a jersey cut to fit over shoulder pads is a different pattern from a soccer or basketball jersey, and pretending otherwise would cost you a reorder. Our published adult blocks, in centimetres and inches, are on the sportswear size chart, and they show how far apart blocks can sit: our basketball jersey is 3 cm longer than our soccer jersey at every size, and our baseball block runs all the way to 7XL with the shoulder measurement grading in exact 2 cm steps.

For a football order, ask for the graded spec of your specific style in writing before bulk, and confirm the chest and shoulder figures against a jersey worn over your actual pads. Both of those cost nothing and remove the only sizing risk that matters.
