Short answer: to order custom team uniforms you need two things: the artwork (logo files, colours and any sponsor marks) and a player roster listing each name, number and size. Vector logo files (AI, EPS, SVG or vector PDF) give the sharpest result; Pantone codes give the most accurate colours. At Eliian the first digital mockup is free and normally ready within 24 hours, player names and numbers are included in the price, and you can mix youth and adult sizes within the 10-piece minimum per design.

Logo and artwork files
| File type | Good for | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| AI, EPS, SVG, vector PDF | Logos, crests, sponsor marks, text | Best choice: scales to any size without blurring |
| PNG or JPG at 300 dpi at print size | Photos, textures, complex artwork | Low-resolution images from a website or social media usually print blurry |
| Sketch, reference photo or another kit you like | Starting point for a new design | Send it with your enquiry and describe what you want; the design is drawn up at the mockup stage for your approval |
- Fonts: convert text to outlines, or send the font file, so lettering is not substituted.
- Sponsor logos: ask each sponsor for their official vector logo and colour codes.
- Rights: only send logos and designs you own or have permission to use.
Colours: how to get an exact match
Screens show colour differently, so “navy” or a screenshot is not a reliable reference. The most accurate way to specify colour is a Pantone code, ideally from the Pantone textile range (codes ending in TCX or TPX). Pantone matching is available for sublimation, embroidery and twill. If you do not have codes, send a physical item in the right colour or tell us which existing kit to match, and confirm the colour on the physical sample before bulk production.
Sublimation can reproduce gradients, photos and unlimited colours on polyester at no extra cost. Very bright fluorescent shades and metallic effects are the hardest to match by sublimation, so discuss them before you approve the mockup. For more on methods, see sublimation vs screen printing vs heat transfer.
Player roster template
Send the roster as a spreadsheet (Excel, Google Sheets or CSV) with one row per player. Typing names in capitals exactly as they should appear avoids most printing mistakes.
| Player name (as printed) | Number | Jersey size | Shorts size | Youth / adult | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| GARCIA | 9 | M | M | Adult | Captain armband |
| LEE | 1 | L | L | Adult | Goalkeeper kit |
| NGUYEN | 14 | YL | YL | Youth |
- Sizes: adult XS to 6XL (baseball jerseys to 7XL) and youth YS to YXXL. Measure against our size chart rather than guessing from a retail brand; our grading is about one size smaller than US domestic brands.
- Blank pieces: list spares without a name or number as separate rows so they are not missed.
- Check for duplicates: two players with the same number is the most common roster error.
For collecting sizes from a whole squad, see our guide to team uniform sizing and quality control.
What happens after you send your files
- Free digital mockup, normally within 24 hours, showing front, back, colours and logo positions.
- Changes: tell us what to adjust and an updated mockup is sent for your approval.
- Physical sample in 5–7 days for jerseys and polos (7–10 days for jackets and activewear), so you can check fit, fabric, colour and print.
- Bulk production in 15–20 days for jerseys and polos (20–25 days for jackets and activewear) after sample approval.
The approved mockup and approved roster become the reference for production and for any quality claim, so check them carefully. Timelines in more detail: sampling and lead time.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a designer to order custom jerseys?
No. A logo file and a description or reference image is enough to start. The design is prepared as a digital mockup for you to approve before anything is made.
My logo is only a low-resolution image. Can it still be used?
Send it anyway and say so. A low-resolution logo may need to be redrawn as vector artwork before printing; check the redrawn version carefully on the mockup.
Do names and numbers cost extra?
Not at Eliian. Player names and numbers are included in the garment price, and the 10-piece minimum per design can be split across youth and adult sizes.
What if a name is printed wrong?
Report it with photos within 7 days of delivery. If the print does not match the approved roster, it is a production error and is fixed by remake, replacement, partial refund or refund under our remake and refund policy. If the roster you approved contained the mistake, it is not a production error, which is why the approval checklist above matters.

Can I design my own jersey without a designer?
Yes. Send your logo, colours and a reference photo, and we make a free mockup within 24 hours. You can ask for changes until you are happy.
Can you match Pantone colours?
Yes. Send Pantone references and we match them, so your colours stay the same across reorders. Sublimation can vary slightly by fabric, so approve the sample colour before bulk.
Can I add sponsor logos?
Yes. Sponsor logos, names and numbers are included in the price.
Can goalkeeper kits be in the same order?
Yes. Add the goalkeeper set to the kit list with the mockup request. A different design counts as its own design for the 10-piece minimum.
What size are the numbers on jerseys and shorts?
Our standard adult sizes are 20–25 cm for the back number, 8–10 cm for the front chest number and 8 cm for the shorts number. Youth back numbers are 15–20 cm. Tell us if your league requires different sizes.
