Custom Sportswear Order & Delivery Record: 13 Orders, 8 Countries, All DDP

Between April and August 2026 Eliian shipped thirteen custom teamwear orders that are set out here in full: the day each order was placed, the day the buyer approved the sample, the day the goods left the factory, the quantity, the destination and the shipping term. Nothing has been averaged away or rounded up. The fastest order in the set went from order to shipment in 11 days and the slowest took 24, and both are in the table below.

Our published lead times say 15 to 20 days for bulk jerseys and polos after sample approval. This page exists so you can check that claim against what actually happened, order by order, rather than taking a supplier’s word for it.

The record at a glance

Where the orders went

All thirteen orders shipped DDP, which means Eliian booked the freight and paid duty and import tax through to the delivery address, and the buyer received the goods without a customs invoice to settle. That is a deliberate choice for club and school orders, where a surprise duty bill after the kit has already been paid for causes more trouble than the duty itself. The cycle broken into three stages

Every order in this record has the same three measurable stages. All figures are calendar days, not working days, and they include weekends and Chinese public holidays that fell inside the window.

The second stage is the one buyers watch, but the first stage is where most of the variance sits and it is almost entirely in the buyer’s hands. The two 11-day orders in this set both approved their sample four days after ordering. The 24-day order took eight.

Five of these orders looked at individually

EL-2606-A: the largest order, 130 pieces to Canada in 22 days

The biggest order in the set, ten times our minimum, and it did not become the slowest. Sample approved seven days after the order, shipped fifteen days after that, twenty-two days door-out from the day it was placed. This is the answer to the question we get most often from clubs placing a full-squad order: a three-figure quantity does not push you into a different lead-time bracket, it pushes you into a better price bracket.

EL-2607-F: 90 pieces to Italy in 16 days

The best quantity-to-time ratio in the record. Sample signed off four days after the order, which is the fastest approval in the set, and the whole order was on its way to Italy sixteen days after it was placed. Ninety pieces in sixteen days happened because the artwork and the size breakdown arrived together at the start, not because the order was given special treatment.

EL-2607-B: the smallest order, 15 pieces to Sweden in 17 days

Fifteen pieces is a five-a-side squad, and at many factories an order that size either gets refused or gets parked behind the big ones. This one ran on the same schedule as everything else: sample in seven days, shipped ten days later. Our minimum is 10 pieces per design with youth and adult sizes mixed, and a 15-piece order sitting in the middle of the pack on lead time is the practical proof that the minimum is real rather than a marketing line.

EL-2604-A and EL-2607-G: the two fastest, both 11 days

Fifty-eight pieces to Canada in April and twenty-five pieces to the United States in July, both order-to-shipment in eleven days. The two orders have almost nothing else in common: different quantities, different continents, different months. What they share is a four-day sample approval, the joint-fastest in the record. If you want the short end of our range, that is the lever.

EL-2607-D: the slowest, 20 sets to Australia in 24 days

Worth showing precisely because it is the worst number in the set. Twenty sets, so a small order, and it still took twenty-four days: eight days to sample approval and sixteen days in production. It ran through late July, our busiest window, and a set order means two or more garments per player with matching decoration, so the piece count understates the work. If your date is tight, plan against 24 days rather than against the average, and tell us the wear date in the first message so it can be checked before you pay a deposit.

What this record shows, and what it does not

Three things it does show. Quantity is a weak predictor of lead time in this range: 130 pieces shipped in twenty-two days while twenty sets took twenty-four. Sample approval speed is a strong predictor: every order that approved in four days shipped in sixteen days or less. And DDP was workable to all eight destinations, including Guadeloupe, which is an EU customs territory that a lot of suppliers will not quote door-to-door at all.

Two things it does not show, and we would rather say so than let the table imply otherwise. These are shipment dates, not delivery dates: transit sits on top, roughly five to seven business days by express courier or twenty to thirty-five days port to port by sea, as set out on our sampling and lead time page. And thirteen orders over five months is a sample, not a guarantee. It is the honest range we operated in over that period, not a promise about your order.

How these figures were compiled

Dates are taken from our internal order and shipping records for the period 2 April to 4 August 2026. Day counts are calendar days measured between the two dates shown, so an order placed on 2 April and shipped on 13 April is recorded as eleven days. Quantities are as invoiced; where the original record was kept in sets rather than pieces it is shown as sets and left out of the piece total on that basis. “Shipped” means the date the goods left the factory under a booked DDP consignment.

Buyer names, order values and artwork are withheld. Several of these orders were placed by named individuals rather than organisations, and publishing a customer list assembled from our own order book is not something we will do without asking each buyer first. Where a buyer is happy to be named, we will add the name and a reference contact to this page rather than paraphrase them.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a custom teamwear order actually take?

Across the thirteen orders recorded here, 11 to 24 days from order placed to goods leaving the factory, averaging 17.3 days, with ten of the thirteen shipping within 20 days. Transit is additional: allow five to seven business days by express courier or twenty to thirty-five days by sea.

Do small orders take longer than large ones?

Not in this record. The smallest order, 15 pieces to Sweden, shipped in 17 days, faster than the 130-piece order at 22 days and the 68-piece order at 22 days. Quantity affects price far more than it affects schedule between 15 and 130 pieces.

Are these delivery dates or shipment dates?

Shipment dates, meaning the day the goods left the factory. Door-to-door delivery is later by the transit time for the route. All thirteen consignments moved DDP, so duty and import tax were paid by Eliian and the buyer had nothing to settle at customs.

Why are the customers not named?

Because we did not ask them at the time. Several were individuals rather than organisations, and buyers in Canada and the EU have a reasonable expectation that their name will not appear on a supplier’s website. Named references are available on request, from buyers who have agreed to act as one.

Can you commit to a date for my order?
